"Yggdrasil" is the mighty Ash tree whose trunk rises at the centre of the Norse spiritual cosmos & the 9 worlds. Everything around it is held together & connected by its roots & branches. Because of this, the wellbeing of cosmos depends on the wellbeing of Yggdrasil. It is a symbol of mortality, transformation, cycle of life, death & rebirth.
